Overview:
Terminus Agenda is a crossover arc published in 2019, primarily featured in Teen Titans and Deathstroke comics. It is written by Adam Glass and Christopher Priest, with art by Bernard Chang and others. The story revolves around the intense conflict between Deathstroke, a master assassin, and the Teen Titans, mainly focusing on Damian Wayne, the Robin who leads the team.
The narrative kicks off when Deathstroke targets the Titans, believing they threaten his new plans. Meanwhile, Damian’s obsession with his lineage and legacy plays a crucial role as he grapples with the implications of his family’s history. The arc showcases a blend of action and emotional stakes as the Titans seek to protect themselves and unravel Deathstroke’s motivations.
Terminus Agenda receives a mixed response from critics and fans. While some praise the character development and complex themes of morality, others feel the pacing can be uneven. The interplay between the seasoned anti-hero Deathstroke and the younger Titans is a significant highlight, reflecting both generational differences and shared struggles. Overall, the arc explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the burdens of legacy within the DC Universe.

Best Way To Read:
- Teen Titans/Deathstroke: The Terminus Agenda
- Collects: Deathstroke #41-43, Teen Titans #28-30
For crossover and significant events, I typically only read the main story the first time I encounter it. Trying to read all of the tie-ins with the story tends to make them increasingly convoluted and are not crucial to the main narrative. However, I think they are important to read, as many series-shifting plotlines can happen.
For the tie-in issues, I only read them as they come up in the reading guide that I am working through. This can become problematic because the tie-in issues are not always included in collected editions of the event. So you may need to hunt for them.
