Simon Baz is the 6th Green Lantern of Earth. He first appeared in 2012 and is of Lebanese-American descent, making him the first Muslim Green Lantern. Simon is known for his unique backstory as a former car thief who becomes a reluctant hero after obtaining a Green Lantern power ring. His character brings diversity and representation to the Green Lantern mythos, highlighting the ongoing efforts of DC Comics to incorporate a wider range of backgrounds and cultures into their stories.
