I love writing. And I love writing about comic books. Whenever I take a break from this site, when I come back to it, I really do enjoy doing it. And through doing it, I’ve had the chance to better myself, engage in interesting comic-book focused discussions and (e-)meet lovely people who also love writing about comics like Michael and Nancy (you should check out their sites) among many others.
But I’ve had a pretty quiet patch as of late, as you may have noticed, and I said when I restarted this site earlier in the year, that if that happened again, I would just take the hint and finally move on.
You know how things are. Sometimes life just gets in the way, and while I want this blog to thrive, out of this and my other blog, that one currently is more of a priority for me, and that’s not even taking VultureHound and Cultured Vultures into account.
But that title isn’t a definitive statement. I just realise that the writing may well be on the wall. For now, I’ll keep the site online, as I still own the domain name until… February, I think? And in that time, I may change my mind on what I want to do with this blog. I may decide I want to keep going. Or I may decide it makes more sense to write about comic-books on my other blog along with everything else.
So yeah, that’s the deal, in case you come along and wonder why this blog isn’t getting updated all the time. Between real life and writing life, I don’t always have the time to devote to this blog, my other blog and the two aforementioned entertainment sites, and at this time of year in particular, I definitely don’t have the money for it.
But this isn’t the end. I’ll still be around on WordPress (even though I cannot stand this new editor). Why don’t you hop over to my ‘geek space’, where alongside comic-booky things, I talk about film and video-games.
Thanks for reading!
